Since moving to Los Angeles from his hometown of Rice Lake, Wisconsin in 2003, Tyler Michael Jonsson has fully immersed himself into the world of acting and performance. He has acting experience in Live Theatre, On-camera, and a multitude of different projects in the world in Internet Radio, Voiceover, and Audiobook Narration and Dramatization.

In mid-2011, Tyler found himself involved in a new Internet startup called “The Middle-earth Network,” an online community that branches into a multitude of media projects and provides a central haven for fans of fantasy and science fiction of all forms. Tyler is a Founder and holds the position of Creative Director at The Middle-earth Network.

Tyler regularly appears on live radio and internet television broadcasts, combining his love of acting and fantasy/sci-fi literature and media. His unique ability to mimic and impersonate character voices has also given him a level of notoriety, namely due to his dead-on impression of Andy Serkis as Gollum, among others. In fact, Tyler is known as “The American Gollum” within the Middle-earth Network community.

Since beginning his time at The Middle-earth Network, Tyler has helped to found and run “My Little-earth,” an audiobook production company that specializes in creating completely dramatized and produced children’s classics. The upcoming first release, The Princess and the Goblin by George MacDonald, is currently in production.

Tyler lives in the Los Angeles area with his wife Amanda and their two young daughters.
